    Le village de Salvérac, au coeur d’une vallée encaissée, est menacé par un projet de forage de gaz de schiste. À l’origine de l'entreprise : Charles Kaskia, un ingénieur multimilliardaire originaire de la vallée, associé au consortium international SETH, qui finance le projet. Le village est divisé entre ceux qui soutiennent ce projet, et les autres qui s’y opposent fermement. Ces derniers sont menés par la maire du village, Floriane Bourdieu. Floriane va tout faire pour empêcher ce forage en s’exposant au pire des menaces des industriels, aidée par l’ingénieur Pierre Donjon.
