Six core sites, delivery edges worldwide
Channels are captured, transcoded, encrypted, packaged and recorded at a core site, then handed off from the point of presence nearest the customer. The core sites are trunked to each other, so a channel ingested in one region reaches a customer in another without leaving our network until the last hop.

Questions your network team will ask
Which core site will serve us?
The one nearest your receiving site, with the next nearest as failover. The looking glass on this page reads your country from your IP address and names it, and the NOC will probe from your own prefix on request.
What happens if a core site fails?
Every channel is provisioned from two core sites on independent paths. Delivery edges home to whichever core is closest and re-home to the next one if a site drops; your endpoints do not change.
Do you carry traffic between the core sites?
Yes. The 6 core sites are trunked to each other in a ring, so a channel ingested in one region can be delivered from another without leaving our network until the last hop.
Can we get a dedicated path instead of the public internet?
Where a guaranteed path is genuinely required we will quote one. Most customers do not need it: SRT recovers its own packet loss, and each channel already has a second origin.
Want a probe from your own prefix?
The figures here are modelled from great-circle distance and our routing table. For a real measurement, ask the NOC and we will run it from the core sites nearest you.
