01Who is responsible

This site sells a business service. We do not knowingly collect data from consumers, and nothing here is used to build advertising profiles of individuals.

02What we collect, and why

Order and quotation data

Company name, VAT ID, address, the name, email address and phone number of the person ordering, the channels and delivery options chosen, and for a hospitality order, the property the channels are licensed for. All of it is needed to perform the contract and to meet the accounting and tax-record obligations that apply to it.

Enquiries and trial requests

Whatever you put in the contact or trial form, including the platform you operate and where you intend to test. Used to answer you and to validate the request against the channel agreements. Legitimate interest, and pre-contractual necessity where a contract follows.

Technical logs

IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamps, kept by our servers and our CDN for security and abuse investigation. Legitimate interest in keeping the service available.

Approximate location

The looking glass resolves the country your IP address is registered in so it can show you the closest delivery site. The lookup runs server-side, per request, and is cached for an hour against your address; where the server cannot see your address (a reverse proxy that does not forward it), your browser asks a public GeoIP service for its own location instead. Either way the result is not stored in your browser and not attached to any profile.

Your consent choice

Stored in a first-party cookie for six months, so we do not ask again. It records only which categories you allowed.

Analytics and marketing data

Anything stored in or read from your browser for these purposes, only if you allow the corresponding category. See the table on this page for who is involved and what they set.

03Cookies and third parties

Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary runs before you decide. Google Tag Manager loads with Consent Mode defaults denied, so tags inside it stay dormant; the scripts we embed ourselves are injected only after you allow their category. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

04Who else processes it

Transfers outside the EEA happen where a provider operates there, such as the United States for Amazon SES and Google. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Hosting and delivery

Our own infrastructure in Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Dallas, Helsinki, Singapore, Johannesburg, plus the CDN that fronts the adaptive streams.

Email

Amazon Web Services (SES) sends order confirmations, trial credentials and answers to enquiries, and every form on this site arrives as a mail in our own mailbox. That mailbox is where enquiries and orders are held and followed up. We run no separate CRM.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, in your browser and only with analytics consent.

Advertising measurement

Meta Platforms Ireland receives the Facebook Pixel signals listed in the table above, and only if you allow the marketing category.

05How long we keep it

Invoices and order records

For as long as the commercial and tax law applicable to the invoice requires them to be kept.

Enquiries that did not become a contract

Two years from the last exchange.

Trial requests

One year, so a repeat request can be recognised.

Technical logs

Ninety days, then deleted or aggregated.

Consent record

Six months, then you are asked again.

06Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction on how we use it, or a machine-readable export. Where we rely on legitimate interest you can object, and where we rely on consent you can withdraw it without giving a reason. We answer within one month.

Write to hello@tvheadend.io. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), the supervisory authority of the country where we are established, or to the authority where you live.

07Changes

When this notice changes materially we update the date at the top and, where the change affects an active contract, we tell the contract contact directly.
