What an OTT platform gets

  • 4-rung ladder, 1080p25 to 360p, LL-HLS optional
  • Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay from one packager
  • Cloud DVR, replay and restart per channel
  • CDN egress per GB across every point of presence, or use your own CDN

HOW A CHANNEL REACHES YOUR PLAYER

We capture the channel once at the core site nearest its origin, transcode a four-rung ladder from 1080p25 down to 360p, and package CMAF for HLS and DASH from the same segments. You get a manifest URL per channel. Your app requests it directly, or you point your own player configuration at it and change nothing else.

MultiDRM is applied in the packager, not bolted on afterwards: Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay licences come from one service, keyed per channel, at EUR 19 per channel per month on HLS / DASH. Playback policy covers output protection, geo rules and concurrent streams; it is set per channel and enforced at licence issue.

Delivery is from the delivery edge closest to the viewer. 189 delivery edges home to their nearest core site, so a request in Auckland is served from the Singapore chain and one in Bogota from Dallas. Egress is EUR 0.09 per GB, or you bring your own CDN and we serve your shield only.

Glass-to-glass sits in the four to eight second range on standard HLS. Where an app needs it, LL-HLS with shorter parts is available per channel, and we will tell you honestly which channels have origins clean enough to make it worthwhile.

ABR, DRM, APPS AND CDN IN ONE ORDER

An OTT line-up is rarely blocked by the encoder. It is blocked by the four things around it: a ladder that holds up on mobile, DRM that satisfies the rights holder, apps on the devices your subscribers own, and a CDN bill that scales with viewing rather than with ambition. We supply all four from the same order.

Cloud DVR at EUR 29 per channel per month and restart at EUR 15 give you catch-up and start-over as tiers you can price separately, with recording held at the core site so no storage moves onto your infrastructure. EPG at EUR 9 per channel keeps the guide and the recording metadata in step.

If you already have players and apps, take the manifests and ignore the rest. If you do not, the white-label apps run the same channels on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Apple TV, phones and tablets, under your brand, against the same DRM and the same EPG.

GET IT INSTANT

Order online: pick the channels, pick adaptive HLS / DASH at EUR 200 per channel per month, tick MultiDRM, DVR, restart or EPG where you want them, and manifests are issued within 12 hours. No setup fee, volume discounts from ten channels, -10% on a 12-month term and -15% on 24 months.

The free three-day trial ships both adaptive HLS / DASH and encrypted SRT for the channels you select. That is deliberate: your app team can point a player at the manifest while your platform team checks the same channel as a transport stream, before anything is signed.
